Flux Kontext + Kling AI Can Turn a BORING Shot Into a CINEMATIC Instagram Reel

In this video we will be seeing how to use three tools, Flux AI Kontext, Kling AI and ChatGPT AI, to turn a very ordinary looking shot of a pastry into a professional and cinematic video ad which can be perfect for Instagram reels. We’ll be using the following 7-step process for this:

  1. Script (ChatGPT)
  2. Storyboarding (ChatGPT)
  3. Image Prompts (ChatGPT)
  4. Image Creation (Flux Kontext)
  5. Video Prompts (ChatGPT)
  6. Video Creation (Kling AI)
  7. Final Video Edit (Premiere Pro)

Video Summary

This video demonstrates a seven-step process for transforming a plain image of a pastry into a cinematic video advertisement using AI tools.

The process primarily utilizes Chat GPT, Flux Context, and Kling AI:

  • Script and Storyboard Creation (Chat GPT): The video begins by using Chat GPT to create a script and a visual storyboard of the desired shots [00:30]. The user also uploads the original pastry image and the storyboard to Chat GPT to generate detailed prompts for the first frame, ensuring the pastry’s details are included [02:26].
  • Consistent Image Generation (Flux Context): The generated prompt is used in Flux Context Pro to create the initial cinematic image of the pastry, with an aspect ratio of 9:16 for an Instagram Reel [04:14]. The user iteratively edits the image within Flux, changing lighting or composition, until a satisfactory result is achieved [05:02]. Crucially, because Flux maintains consistency, subsequent frames (close-ups, macro shots) are created by simply editing the previous image with a simple prompt (e.g., “zoom more in towards the pastry”), eliminating the need for new complex prompts from Chat GPT [06:01].
  • Video Generation (Kling AI): Once all still frames are generated, the user returns to Chat GPT to get prompts for turning each image into a video, specifying slow-motion for the topping shots [07:37]. These images and prompts are then input into Kling 2.1 AI (or using Kling via OpenArt) to generate the video clips [08:09].
  • Final Result: The video concludes by showcasing the final cinematic reel (which is only briefly shown as an example within the video) [10:43], highlighting that this AI-driven approach is significantly faster and more affordable than traditional photography and video production [11:15].
