How to Use a 10 Stop ND Filter – Exposure Calculation

In this video, we’ll be seeing how to use a 10-stop ND filter along with an exposure calculating app for shots that require a slow shutter speed when there is a lot of ambient light.

A 10-Stop ND Filter, also referred to as the ND1000 filter, is a great tool to have when it comes to doing long exposure photography because it allows you to cut down an extreme amount of light.

The main issue with using such a strong ND filter is that you have to know how to calculate the correct exposure. And this where an app called Exposure Calculator will come in, like shown in the video. In this video we will also be seeing how to mount this type of an ND filter on your camera lens.
